Marshmallow Farms

Doesn’t that look like a giant marshmallow?   Our son, P, asked Husband about the large white things in farmers’ fields.  They don’t have them in his country, and P is a city boy.  Husband told him they were giant marshmallows left out to cure during winter.  He said when Spring comes, they’ll  take them and cut them into smaller pieces and package the marshmallows for sale.
It’s a round hay bale.  Sometimes if they aren’t covered, the round bales turn a nasty shade of green.  Husband told P those are spoiled.
I had to join in by taking a photo of a blooming cotton plant.  I told P they were marshmallow buds or seeds.   We aren’t sure how long P believed Husband, but they still play and tease about the marshmallow farms.
