My morning started with a call at 5:30.  One of my students leaving today was in a panic at the airport.  She said they gave her the wrong flight information when she checked in, and wanted to know what to do.  I suggested she ask ‘them’ at the counter while I went downstairs to check her itinerary.   She mistook an 3 for an 8.   The poor girl was at the airport 7 extra hours.  The last thing she told me was that she wasn’t telling her dad.  I didn’t say anything, but I bet he notices.

I went to the airport this afternoon to pick up one of my students with his hostmom.  FES made a great impression, and his English is very good.  Hurray!

I’m waiting for morning when my girl will let me know she arrived.  in the right country.  Cross your fingers.
