I would like to host a black student in my home, what do I need to do?

Contact your local high school, ask them what exchange programs they work with. Then contact the program to ask them if they have any black students available. Most students are probably placed by now, but you could volunteer to be an emergency or respite family, or the second family if a student needs moved. Some programs will accept mid-year students from the Southern Hemisphere. If you want to send me your email address, I’ll give you some suggestions. Keep in touch. (ps. I’m assuming you’re from the states.)
